Our 2024 in Retrospect

As the year draws to a close, we can proudly look back and say that 2024 has been a significant year for us. This year marked a special milestone: we celebrated our 75th anniversary! This anniversary was not only a cause for celebration but also an opportunity to reflect on our legacy and project our commitment into the future.

To commemorate this important date, we launched various initiatives that allowed us to share our story with clients, collaborators, and partners. From redesigning our website to creative activities like the internal contest “Carry Your Summer Memories in a Bag,” we strengthened our connection to our essence as a team. 

In the commercial field, this year also stood out due to active participation in key events. In April, we attended Analytica, the world-leading event for laboratory techniques, biotechnology, and quality analysis, held in Munich, Germany.

This fair provided us with an opportunity not only to present our latest innovations but also to strengthen our position as leaders in the sector and directly address the needs of our customers and distributors, adapting to the demands of different types of laboratories.

Innovations That Make a Difference

2024 was also a year of significant advances in our product lines. At the beginning of the year, we implemented a software upgrade for our centrifuges with TFT screens, expanding the programmable memory from 40 to 100. Equipment such as the Digicen 22 Series, Consul 22, and Magnus 22, among others, now feature this enhancement, which has been very well received by our customers.

We also optimized the capacity of our centrifuges to process blood collection tubes, allowing for a larger volume of samples. This improvement, implemented in the high capacity models such as the Digtor 22 Series and Dilitcen 22 R, helps optimize laboratory workflows, saving time and resources.

In line with our vision of innovation, we continue progressing with the implementation of connectivity and our REI (Rotor Easy to Install) system in more equipment. Additionally, we began developing a new centrifuge model.

This model stands out for its increased capacity and incorporates user-friendly features, such as a more intuitive lid-opening system, a repositioned TFT screen, and an ergonomic design.

Sustainability and Social Commitment

The year 2024 will also be remembered as a year of consolidating our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We obtained the ISO 14001 certification, which endorses our environmental management practices, and the Solidarity Company Seal, which reaffirms our dedication to a fairer and more inclusive society by allocating 0.7% of our Corporate Tax to social projects in the Third Sector.
